The Downtowner is a family owned and operated business serving the Denton and Dallas/Ft. Worth area since 2005.
- EVENT CENTER - The Star Room is a 4,000 square foot venue. We host various events from wedding receptions to corporate meetings.
- SALON - The salon is a full service salon which includes 22 private suites consisting of hairstylists, nail technicians and skin therapist.

We operated the skating center for 23 years making many lifelong friendships. After a successful run, we decided to take a different turn in our journey. With our experience in hosting parties and our daughter, Michelle, being in the hair industry, we decided to launch our new business, The Downtowner. We wanted a nice, affordable venue for the residents of Denton to host their special events. And, the private salon suites offer a relaxing experience for our clients.
